Flood Run 2009

Ryan and I went on the Flood Run in 2007 and we both had an awesome time! This year the flood run takes place on April 18th and starts in Hudson, Wisconsin and ends in Winona, MN. All types of Riders and Bikes are welcome. This is a great early season ride with a bar stop every 40 miles along the St. Criox and Mississippi River Valley's. If any of you are up for it you can crash at my place the night before and we can leave Bloomington to get an early start for one of the most popular rides of the year. Check out the link on the right for more information!

Climbing/Biking Trip

A small group of my climbing friends and I are heading out to the Black Hills for the weekend of July 18th to climb in the Needles and Mount Rushmore area's of South Dakota. This area hosts a variety of climbs from easy to expert, camp sites, local biker bars, and some of the best riding in the midwest. It would be awesome to ride out to the Black Hills on the Bikes (we could send our gear with my friends), climb for a day or two, then putt around the Black Hills. We are probably looking at a 4-5 day trip, but if enough of you riders are interested this could be the best trip of the year! If anyone thinks this might work for them, let me know!

First Annual Plotting and Planning Board Meeting

It sounds like Matt Guritz has got the itch again.... (no, not the same one he had this fall. That one went away with some life-style changes and a special shampoo) Matt has the itch to get on the water, drink some beer, burn some steaks, and howl at the moon!

Thus, we will be holding our first annual plotting and planning meeting at Matt's house in Mankato on April 4th. There will be guide books, river maps, beer, and a whole lot of testosterone! So, tell the wife that you need to borrow your balls for the afternoon and be there! We'll get a couple of trips planned for the year so bring your ideas and your schedules! See you there!
